JOHNNY ROGERS is best known for his association with Canadian rockers, “Brighton Rock”. BR was dubbed in 1988 as Q107‟s Music Rising Star for that year. “Brighton Rock” was nominated for Juno Awards in 1989 for Most Promising Group of the Year, and in 1992 for Hard Rock Album of the Year. Their debut CD had them on the road supporting their first single, “We Came To Rock” and the ballad release

“Can‟t Wait For The Night”. Their successful debut tour had them touring in Texas and the southern U.S.A. following other notable Canadian rockers like Triumph, Moxy, and Helix. The second Brighton Rock release “Take A Deep Breath”, produced by the accomplished Jack Richardson, had them touring England on the strength of two singles, “ One More Try” and “Hangin‟ High And Dry”. “Take A Deep Breath” was certified gold in Canada, and made international airwaves in Germany, Ireland, France and the United Kingdom.
